AMY WANG

Co-founder & Marketing Director

Amy Wang's journey is marked by her bold cross-border exploration and entrepreneurial spirit. As a teenager, Amy participated in short-term international exchanges in the United States and New Zealand, sparking her fascination with the multicultural and scenic beauty of New Zealand. This led to her decision to return and pursue further education in the country.

Amy completed her high school studies at Lynfield College, which laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors. She then pursued a dual degree in International Trade and Advertising at Auckland University of Technology, equipping herself with the academic tools for business exploration. Her passion for learning led her to Massey University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Management.

After graduation, Amy worked as a loan consultant at one of New Zealand’s major banks, gaining valuable financial experience. However, her entrepreneurial aspirations continued to grow. In 2014, driven by her desire for independence and innovation, Amy founded Amy’s Selection Ltd., an online and offline retail store specializing in imported Japanese products. Starting with a modest box of cookies, she led her team to achieve remarkable success, with annual sales surpassing seven figures. Her story gained recognition as an inspiration to other women entrepreneurs, showcasing her journey from humble beginnings to a thriving business.

In 2024, Amy embraced a new challenge by co-founding Studio Orsay with her business partner, Jing. This venture represents her ongoing passion for innovation, as they explore the intersection of art and education. Amy’s entrepreneurial path is one of courage, creativity, and perseverance, constantly inspiring others to take risks, cross boundaries, and pursue their dreams.
